Part 1 of the Kroger Card Contest Winner - Valerie Taylor

Monday, December 12, 2011

As you all may know, CTC has been holding a Kroger card contest to encourage the use of Kroger fundraiser cards purchased through Kanawha Communities That Care.  The first part of the contest was geared towards simply loading the card(s)- the winner being who loads their card(s) the most.  This portion ended on November 25.  The second part of the contest is geared towards loading the card(s) with the most money.  The deadline for these loads is December 31, 2012.  I received quite a few receipts and tallied up the winner for the first part.  With 10 Kroger card load receipts turned in to me, Valerie Taylor is the winner!  Valerie wins a Frigidaire Professional 7-Quart Stainless Steel Oval Slow Cooker, donated from Lowes in Kanawha City.  This is an $80 value and awesome prize!

Thanks to Valerie, and everyone who participated in this part of the fundraiser.  There’s still plenty of time and opportunity to take part in the second half of the fundraiser.  The winner will receive a free overnight stay (for 2 guests) at Logan State Park (donated from WV State Parks).  Please contact me for more details and learn how you can receive your CTC Kroger card.  Not only will you be given the opportunity to win a wonderful prize, but you will also be effortlessly contributing to a great cause for Kanawha County and its fight against substance abuse.
